The Red Tent is a living womb, a sacred and ancient temple space that permeates through all cultures.
Two years ago I was spontaneously drawn to bring a Red Tent to the MANNA passover pilgrimage festival in California, to be a space to offer sanctuary and support to menstruating bodies and mamas. This immediately catalyzed my fervent passion for supporting women as well as seeing the accessibility gap for women who need the village around them and their children.
Since then, I’ve begun Red Thread Ritual, my blooming business. My goals this year are to continue offering Red Tent Production at community events and gatherings.
This year so far in 2026 I built a Red Tent in Eugene, Oregon and we have had a handful of classes and events held in the space since the opening in February.
I have been traveling up and down the west coast to various festivals and gatherings to put up Red Tents, some of which have been Jewish festivals like MANNA and Chavaya, as well as Oregon Country Fair and Spirit Weavers Gathering. These have been incredibly life affirming and I've cherished to show up in this role to support the wombs and menstruating bodies at these events.
I have been pouring into these offerings my work in menstrual cycle education as well as breast health education and I am delighted to continue to dream into the expansion of this work.
I have had the pleasure to collaborate with some of the most fantastic women in creating these spaces together.
